Corporate History

October 1941 Founded Kokusan Packing Company in Osaka, and began production of gaskets and packing seals for internal combustion
August 1942 Changed the company name to Kokusan Packing Manufacturing
January 1950 Became recognized as a corporation, and changed company name to Kokusan Packing Co., Ltd.
April 1954 Changed the company name to Kokusan Packing Industry Co.,
March 1964 Established the Toyonaka Plant in Toyonaka City, Osaka
July 1972 Established the Hiroshima Plant (Hiroshima Plant No. 2) in Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima
October 1981 Transferred the head office to Toyonaka City, Osaka, and changed the company name to Kokusan Parts Industry Co., Ltd.
March 1984 Opened a branch office in Hofu City, Yamaguchi
